Chairman
Larry founded Independent Insurance Center in 1973. He became one of the first insurance professionals in the country to get his CIC professional certification when the program was first offered. An avid golfer and photographer, Larry enjoys solving client problems through properly designed products that meet the client's budget. He is very active in the local community and serves as Chairman of a local community bank.

David joined Independent Insurance Center / Fire Mark over 25 years ago. Having started with Aetna and working to senior claim examiner, David has continued his insurance education by earning the CPCU, CIC and CBIA designations. He has served clients and companies alike as a member and chair of several national advisory boards. He is currently on the Board of The Downstream Project. He enjoys helping customers by providing risk management advice and solutions. When he is not working, David enjoys spending time with his children, golfing and hiking.

Treasurer
Mary has been with Independent Insurance Center / Fire Mark since the beginning, helping Larry create the agency. She is also a licensed property/casualty agent and has completed a number of IIA courses. Mary enjoys knowing that the agency's clients are being served by dedicated and knowledgeable agents and watching the family business grow into one of the premier agencies in Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and travel.

Personal Lines Manager
Rhonda has 30 years of insurance experience and has currently been with IIC for 9 years. She enjoys working with her customers and helping them "protect their stuff" whether it be their autos, homes, motorcycles, watercraft or providing protection for their families with life and health insurance. She currently is Vice President of the Insurance Women of Northern Shenandoah Valley and a member of the National Association of Insurance Women. She serves as the Secretary for the Fraternal Order of Police Association in Winchester, Virginia. In her free time, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going to the beach and bowling.

Diane is a licensed property/casualty and life/health agent who joined the agency in 2002 after three years' experience with a large company and a previous full career with the Central Intelligence Agency. She is highly regarded by her customers because of her personal attention and resourcefulness on their behalf. Diane has been a Loudoun County resident since 1981 and lives in Hamilton, VA. Diane is a regular blood donor and has volunteered many hours of her time to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter. In her spare time she enjoys activities with family and friends.

Tracey helps keep the family-owned business on track. She has a degree in insurance and finance and worked for a large insurance agency in Tidewater, Virginia before coming home to Loudoun in 1999. She enjoys gardening, exercising and spending time with her family. Since working at IIC she has obtained her AIAM designation.

Karen started her insurance career in 1984 with an agency in Maryland. In 1999, she relocated to Virginia and continued to work for a local independent agency. Karen has been with Independent Insurance Center, Firemark since 2006. During her career, she has received her Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) and her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations. Karen resides in Loudoun County with her family.

Judy began her insurance career in 1976 in Buffalo, New York. She moved to California in 1982 and worked for the same agency for the next 17 years. She moved to Virginia in 2006. She has had her CIC designation for 15 years.

Kitty has been licensed in property and casualty insurance for twenty years. Most of that time she has worked in the personal lines department helping customers protect their possessions and providing answers to their questions. She has worked at Independent Insurance Center for nine years. She lives in Haymarket and enjoys going to the beach, concerts, movies and reading mystery books.

Lillian has been with Independent Insurance Center since the mid 90's, providing support for the Commercial Lines department. A long time resident of Lincoln, Virginia, she delights in walking, gardening and classical music.

Dick joined IIC in 1998 after having his own large agency in Falls Church. Prior to that, he spent 10 years with a major insurance broker as their Senior VP Wholesale Division handling major National Professional Associations, such as the American Dental Association, the American Optometric Association, National Lawyers Professional Protector Plan and others. He specializes in insurance for various professions and serves on the Board and is an officer in (ARMI) Associated Risk Managers International. Dick is a past president of the (AIPAGIA) American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators.
